BOMME Academy is the education arm of BOMME STUDIO, built inside a working U.S. apparel manufacturer. This isn’t theory pulled from textbooks or guesswork from agencies. It’s the real process we use every day to bring collections from sketch to production.

Most resources online oversimplify how clothing is made, skip critical steps, or ignore what actually happens once a tech pack hits a factory floor. BOMME Academy is our answer to that gap. We’re documenting the real workflows, decision points, and tradeoffs that brands face when they move from idea to finished product.

As we roll out the full Academy, you’ll see each section in the curriculum expand into deep, practical guides covering:

  • Foundations of apparel development and fit
  • How fabrics, knits, and finishes actually behave in production
  • Construction methods, seams, stitches, and reinforcement choices
  • Garment-type breakdowns for hoodies, pants, jackets, denim, and more
  • Full-package vs CMT, and what that really means for your brand
  • The supply chain behind every garment: mills, dye houses, printers, and beyond
  • Costing, pricing, and planning production in a way that protects your margin

The goal of BOMME Academy is simple: give serious brands and designers enough clarity to have grown-up conversations with manufacturers, make better decisions earlier, and avoid the expensive mistakes that come from guessing how production works.

When you're ready to see how the broader supply chain connects to these fundamentals, explore the BOMME Directory — our companion resource mapping manufacturers, mills, dye houses, printers, and development partners across the industry.
